How Does Hypnotherapy Work?

Hypnotherapy is not the same as a hypnotism. It is not showmanship. When used as a therapy it is powerful and has more dimensions than other therapies such as counselling or CBT. Hypnotherapy is relaxing, calming and forward looking. You are always in control. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses the very latest research in neuroscience to understand how our brains work. It is a type of talking therapy combined with deep relaxation, known as trance. While in this truly relaxed state we can make suggestions to your subconscious and your mind is able to explore the solutions you think are best for you.

My name is Amanda and I’m a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist.
You can choose to attend sessions online from the comfort of your home, or visit my therapy room in Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
All you need for an online session is a quiet space, a phone, tablet, or computer, and a good internet connection.
Please be aware that results can differ for each client, as everyone is different. You will need to fully participate in sessions and listen to your relaxation track regularly to realise the full benefits of hypnotherapy.
